Our flexible referral options mean you can access care in the way that works best for you, whether through a GP, NDIS, workplace EAP, or self-referral, with continuity of care throughout.
Referral Pathways to ACT Curious
ACT Curious accepts referrals through several pathways, making it easy for individuals to access the right support when they need it most. We welcome:
GP referrals
NDIS referrals (both agency-managed and self-managed)
Self-referrals from individuals,families, or carers
Our clinicians provide therapeutic support for mental health, wellbeing, trauma, workplace stress, family difficulties, psychosocial disability and more.
Using EAP and MHCP Together
Many people also access support through their workplace’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). ACT Curious works alongside EAP services, allowing individuals to continue therapy even after their allocated EAP sessions have finished. A GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) can be used to extend support once EAP sessions end or if someone needs more regular or specialised care. This means you can:
Start with EAP sessions for immediate support
Continue your therapy with an MHCP for ongoing care
Move between services smoothly, with continuity of care
Reduce wait times and costs while receiving the level of support that fits your needs
With your consent, our team can also collaborate with your GP, workplace, or NDIS supports to make sure the approach is consistent and aligned with your goals.
